重返英格蘭陣容，Dyer再次起飛
因傷患經過一年的休養，Dye復出後以優異的表現證明自己
最好的證明就是，Dyer復出後把新堡從聯賽倒數第二一路拉上現在的前十
他接受世界新聞報訪問時說：
"I'd get messages from people or they'd stop me in the street with that
look: 'How are you?'"
"I'd say: 'Well, I'm not dying or anything, if that's what you mean. I've
got nothing wrong with me.'
"I know the story, that I had an illness, had come out all wrong. That
just wasn't true. I'd heard all the talk, so many different stories.
"It is part and parcel of being a footballer that this happens. I think
I'm strong mentally and as long as the important people knew, the rest didn't
faze me.
"The truth was not so colourful: I had a hamstring injury."
"He(physio John Green) said I had tendinitis in my hamstring and when I
played it would get inflamed," said Dyer.
"He said my body was a wreck because my posture was all wrong...I had to
do the exercises for hours every day. I'm so glad I persevered. I was a
slouch."
