　　The death of Magpies midfielder Tommy Casey has now been confirmed at the
age of 78.

　　Northern Ireland international Casey was a Newcastle player between 1952
and 1958 and played in the 1955 FA Cup final victory over Manchester City.

　　Casey was part of the last Newcastle team to win the FA Cup in 1955, and
scored 10 goals in 134 appearances for the Magpies.

　　He moved on to Portsmouth and Bristol City, later working as a fishmonger
in the Bristol area.
