英超球星家屬又遇慘劇 "黑飛俠"母親不幸死于火災

據英國《太陽報》報導，紐卡斯爾射手馬丁斯的母親昨天在尼日利亞首都拉各斯不幸
去世，享年62歲。
昨天一輛油罐車在馬丁斯母親阿爾哈婭的家附近著火，慌忙出逃的她由於受到過度驚
嚇，死在了自己的車裏。已於當地時間昨晚回國奔喪的馬丁斯將錯過明天紐卡斯爾對陣頓
卡斯特的熱身賽和馬婁卡季前訓練營，而能否出戰新賽季初段的比賽也被畫上了一個大大
的問號。
馬丁斯的哥哥比奧拉說：“奧巴（馬丁斯）是我們家最疼愛母親的人之一，現在他正
在回家的路上，他不敢相信母親已經永遠地離開了，現在他的情緒非常低落。他一直是個
孝子，職業生涯當中他的每一個決定都是在考慮母親的前提下做出的。”
“當初馬丁斯放棄學業準備進入很難預知未來的職業足球圈時，很多人都對他橫加指
責，只有媽媽在支持著他。有一次，由於母親生病，奧巴甚至放棄了國家隊的比賽，回到
了媽媽的身邊，為此他還遭到了處罰。”
當天淩晨三點，在油罐車著火之後，阿爾哈婭招呼著家人和朋友趕快逃離現場，不過
正當她準備駕車離開時，突然倒下並最終停止了呼吸。之前，馬丁斯本來已經決定在今年
九月將母親接到紐卡斯爾和自己一起生活，不過現在的慘劇讓他和母親從此不再能重逢。
馬丁斯的表兄巴羅古恩目擊了阿爾哈婭不幸離世的經過，他說：“奧巴在得知消息後
立即給家裏打了電話，在電話上他完全失去了控制，哭的非常地傷心。”兩年前，馬丁斯
也曾在拉各斯遇到過不快的經歷，幾名蒙面的持槍歹徒向他和他的朋友開槍，並搶走了他
的車。

Obafemi Martins could miss the start of the 2008/09 campaign following
the death of his mother.
The Newcastle striker has flown home to Nigeria to be with his family,
with no indication as to when he will return.
Martins' mother reportedly died of shock after trying to escape when a
petrol tanker caught fire near her Lagos apartment.
"Oba was closer to our mother than anyone else in the family," said his
brother Biola.
"He's still in shock and disbelief and feels terribly down. Oba always
consulted her first in any decision to do with his career.
"Our mother stood by him when everyone else condemned his decision to
dump school in pursuit of an unpredictable future in football."
Sympathies
Martins will now miss the Magpies' friendly date with Doncaster on
Saturday, while it is doubtful that he will join his team-mates at the
club's training camp in Majorca next week.
As a result, he is likely to be a fitness doubt heading into the new
season and Kevin Keegan may be forced to utilise his other attacking
options during the first few weeks of the campaign.
A spokesman for the North East club confirmed that Martins had been
granted permission to leave the fold, saying:
"Oba has flown back to Nigeria on compassionate grounds to be with his
family at what is a very sad time for them.
"Everyone at the club extends their greatest sympathies to Oba and his
relatives."
