Bellamy willing to fit in http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/n/newcastle_united/3679404.stm Craig Bellamy has told Newcastle boss Graeme Souness he is prepared to continue to play out of position. Bellamy dropped back into midfield as Souness opted to pair Alan Shearer with Patrick Kluivert in the Premiership win at Southampton. The Welsh international said: "The manager knows my best position and so do I - and it's not in midfield. "But if he wants me to play out wide and do a job, I have to try and do that to the best of my ability." Bellamy fell out with former Magpies boss Sir Bobby Robson after being shunted out to the right wing. He admitted: "To tell the truth, I don't believe I'm that good out there, I'm better through the middle, up front. "But the bottom line is that we got three points at Southampton." Souness said after the win at St Mary's: "We have players who are playing out of position but they want to do it. "Craig prefers to play through the middle but we had a chat and he understood and is fully committed. "I will pick some players and ask them to play in what is not their ideal position." -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 61.229.36.63
