帕克： "離開卻爾西是個很困難的決定，但教練並不想用我，所以是時候離開了。要
        留在那很容易，我還有四年合約，也買了新房子，家庭都安定好了，我喜歡
        那裡，我認識了一些偉大的人們，我想融入球隊，取得好成績，但後來教練
        給我很大的考驗，遺憾的是我並沒有得到公平的機會來展現自己。"


       "我不將離開卻爾西視為失敗，因為我缺乏機會，這不是藉口，事實就是這樣
        ，我在自己的位置上出現的次數可以用一隻手數出來。我到今天仍然相信我
        會對球隊有所幫助。"


       "We've got a good squad here; as long as we can avoid injury, I
        think we can do something. But we need to get a togetherness,
        that's the important thing.  If we can do that then we can have a
        good old go."


       "I said when I went to Chelsea that I have a driving ambition to
        win trophies. I still have that and believe I can realise it at
        Newcastle."
