Parker pleased to play

Scott Parker's recent spate of games for Chelsea has given the player hope that
he can become a key component for The Blues.
Parker had been linked with a move away from the club after finding himself on
the fringe under Jose Mourinho.
However, the former Charlton star has finally been given a taste of the action,
and feels he has given a good account of himself.
"What has gone on in the last few weeks is all I could've asked for," admitted
the England international.
"Now I feel I've given the manager a bit of belief in me as a player. I'm glad
I had the chance to show him (Mourinho) about me."
