從國外記者 Luke Edwards的blog看來的一點消息：
As for Mike Ashley, I'm told Kevin Keegan appeared to be extremely
disheartened at Coventry last night after a meeting in a "broom cupboard"
with managing director Derek Llambias.
昨天在考文垂比賽跟高層的談話結束後，Keegan顯得很沮喪。
Whatever KK was told, it didn't go down well - perhaps it was James Milner's
transfer request, perhaps it was the even more alarming news that there
aren't going to be anymore new signing and that this threadbare squad is
going to have to get through to Christmas!
不管KK被告知了什麼，也許是Milner的轉會申請，也許是接下來不會有更多的
球員進來......
Whatever it was, there is something strange going on and the manager
isnn't happy about it. Perhaps we are about to see the end of Mike Ashley's
honeymoon period?
不管是什麼，確實有什麼奇怪事情在發生，而KK對此感到不太高興。
也許我們可以看到這是Mike Ashley的蜜月期結束的終點。

As I've just mentioned at the end of another comment, the fact is KK isn't
happy about the way things are progressing - either in terms of player
recruitment or retention in the case of Michael Owen and James Milner - and
he is struggling to bite his tongue.
Unless there are at least two new signings (three is Milner is allowed to
leave which I think is a decent bit of business at ￡10m, as long as
someone is brought in to replace him) and good news about Owen, I think we
are about to see the end of Mike Ashley's honeymoon period.
記者是提到對於Owen續約的進展以及Milner這件事情的發展，事實上都讓KK覺得
很不開心。但他只能一直隱忍著。
唯一大概能讓他開心一點的是，買來新人以及歐文真正續約的消息吧。
