Chelsea are still in the running for all four competitions this season, but Duff has insisted that winning the Premiership is their main ambition. Jose Mourinho's side sit on a nine point lead at the top of the table, but Arjen Robben's injury and a goalless draw at home to Manchester City has started some talk of a collapse. Duff, however, is adamant that the club can go on to claim the title for the first time in half a century - and says that he would prefer that to winning the Champions League. "I think our number one priority has to be the Premiership," Duff told Sky Sports News. "We haven't won it in fifty years and it's our centenary year. It's our bread and butter really. "In the Champions League you can lose a game, in an unfortunate situation or something, and that's it. "But the Premiership is over 38 games and the best team wins it, and I suppose that's our priority." Manchester United are trying to breach the gap at the head of affairs, but Duff believes that Mourinho will not let his side throw away the Premiership crown. "It's a big gap and obviously it's just there for us to throw away now, but I'm sure the gaffer won't let us do that now. "We treat every game like a cup final and we just look forward to the next match." Chelsea face a tough test of their title desire on Saturday when they visit high-flying Everton. -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 61.228.14.128
