A few more members of the Chelsea squad talk today about their experience,
or lack of experience of the national stadium.

Yesterday, Frank Lampard explained that he was too young to have attended
Wembley in person to see his father play in the second of two FA Cup Final
appearances, having not even been born for the first. The story is
different for Shaun Wright-Phillips. 'I went to watch my dad play for
Crystal Palace there against Man United when he came on as sub and scored
two goals,' he recalls.

As an eight-year-old, he was a partisan spectator at one of the most
entertaining Cup Finals in recent times when in 1990, Ian Wright, who had
recently recovered from a broken leg, helped underdogs Palace to a 3-3
draw and a replay, eventually lost. 'It is just nice to be going there and
instead of watching him, I could be playing,' Wright-Phillips adds as he
looks forward to the weekend.

He had lost his place in the England squad when they trained inside the
new structure recently so it will all be new to him. 'I've just seen it on

to Wembley Arena for boxing. I went to see my friend Anthony Small fight.'

Now this next one may be a surprise. The daddy of the current Chelsea
squad has not once during his 34 years set foot inside Wembley - old or
new.

'I haven't ever played there. This is the first time I go,' reveals Claude
Makelele. 'It is okay but I need to win at this stadium before I enjoy. I

for Chelsea. I have only seen the new Wembley on TV.'

Restoring the balance is Geremi who a little under 10 years ago did tread
the famous Wembley turf. 'I have been there with my national team. It was
Cameroon against England and we lost a friendly. It was cold and I was
really young. It was one of my first experiences in the national team.

still talking about it, it was one of the biggest and now I am excited to
be there again. I've not seen the new stadium yet.'

If anyone in the Chelsea dressing wants the low down on how the new 90,000
capacity stadium is shaping up, they should speak to Ashley Cole. 'We
trained there once with England and it seemed nice. It will be good for
the fans with a nice pitch so it should be a good final. It will be a
great occasion for the country as well.

massive dressing rooms and this is exactly the same. You have TVs, your
own locker.'

Cole has the chance on Saturday of equalling the modern era record of four
FA Cup winners' medals. His previous three however were gained at Cardiff.
'I never played at the old stadium,' he reveals. 'I watched some Champions
League games with Arsenal there but I have never had the chance to go out
and play. So if I get the chance to play, it will be a dream come true
from when I was a kid.
