http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11678_4150776,00.html Newcastle midfielder Danny Guthrie has apologised for breaking Craig Fagan's leg during his side's defeat to Hull. The former Liverpool man was sent off for a reckless tackle on Fagan during Hull's 2-1 success at St James' Park. Hull have confirmed Fagan has sustained a fracture to his right tibia as a result of the challenge which could sideline him for up to three months. Tigers boss Phil Brown was left infuriated by the challenge and now Guthrie has expressed his sorrow for causing the injury to Fagan. "I was very upset to hear the news concerning Craig," Guthrie told the club's official website. "The club have been in touch with Hull City on my behalf because I want to speak to Craig in person to apologise and wish him a speedy recovery. I hope to be able to do that as soon as possible. "It was a challenge that came purely out of frustration towards the end of Saturday's game, but anybody who knows me will accept it was totally out of character on my part." -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 118.168.201.54
