NEWCASTLE United starlet Ryan Donaldson hopes to use his Magpie debut as
a springboard for a successful season with his hometown club.
The Geordie hitman came on for the last 20 minutes of Sunday night's 1-0
defeat against Real Mallorca in the final match of the Mallorca Summer
Cup.
And the 17-year-old, who became United's youngest-ever reserve team
scorer two seasons ago, admits he was buzzing after making his senior
bow.
僅僅才17歲的Geordie前鋒, Donaldson昨天在對馬洛卡的比賽中被替換上場,
這成了他的第一場一線隊比賽.
"It was fantastic to come on and to be honest I didn't expect it," the
England under-17 forward told nufc.co.uk.
"To make your debut for your hometown club is an amazing feeling and has
given me a taste for more.
"It was a great experience and I thought it went well, although the
conditions were difficult because of the heat.
"I enjoyed every minute of being with the lads in Mallorca and it's
been great for morale.
"Now I've got to keep working hard in the reserves, hopefully score some
goals, and maybe get another chance at some point this season."
Donaldson對此感到很興奮,認為這是一個非常棒的經驗.特別這是他的家鄉球隊.
現在他打算繼續在預備隊努力,多進些球,也許在這賽季的什麼時候他可以得到些
