Although he did not have a great deal to do, what he did was telling.
Bolton are a threat in the air and Given had to be on his toes to keep
the likes of Kevin Davies and co quiet, along with keeping out Nolan's
spot-kick.
Save of the match:
This has to be Given's superb block to keep out Kevin Nolan's penalty.
Had this gone in Bolton may well have gone on to claim the points.
Moment of the match:
As if Owen's introduction was not enough for Newcastle's fans, he also
got the winner on 71 minutes. He was superbly placed to guide home
Geremi's pin-point cross with a close-range header.
