Media reports in South Korea claim that Newcastle coaches are travelling
to the country, in order to assess local youngsters with a view to involving
them in our youth development programme.
The link up is believed to be with Seoul area K-League side Seongnam
Ilhwa Chunma, with trials taking place over the coming days.
If successful, it's understood that commercial sponsorship via a South
Korean company could see this scheme repeated annually until 2011.

include Dong-Gook Lee (smoggies), Ji-Sung Park (Man United) and Young-Pyo Lee
(Spurs).
