Shota: AZ will beat Geordies Mar 4 2007 By Neil Farrington, The Sunday Sun Az Alkmaar striker Shota Arveladze believes second leg home advantage will ensure they end Newcastle's UEFA Cup dreams. The Georgian is sure his side can get a good enough result at St James's Park on Thursday to complete the job in Holland a week later. But former Rangers hotshot Arveladze is not underestimating the challenge posed by United. "Newcastle are a dangerous team," he said. "They aren't that high in the league table but they are one of the big clubs in England and are playing very well in Europe. "I know about English football after my stay in Scotland and AZ will travel there determined not to give too much away so we can then decide the tie in Holland. "To play the second match at home is crucial." Arveladze, now 34, added: "I'm surprised Newcastle are not in a UEFA Cup place in the Premier League. "But injuries have badly affected them - especially Michael Owen's." -- 歐協盃十六強最強戲碼即將上映 不知道有沒有直播呢 XD -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 140.114.222.27
