Owen Real-istic after two months

Michael Owen knew after only two months at Real Madrid that his stay in
Spain would be for no more than a season.
(歐文在馬德里待了兩個月之後就發現他頂多只能在那邊待上一個賽季。)
Owen claims he found it difficult to adjust to life in Madrid after signing
for the club from Liverpool in 2004.
(歐文在2004年離開利物浦去了皇馬之後，他發現適應馬德里的生活是如此的困難。)
Despite revealing his discontent at Real, the England international still
managed to claim a more than respectable 16 goals in La Liga.

Owen joined Newcastle in the summer of 2005 but his spell on Tyneside has
been beset by injury. The striker is adamant though that he has no regrets
over his career choices.

足夠堅強並且對於他轉會的選擇從不感到後悔。)
"I moved out there [Madrid] for all the right reasons. I knew that if I
turned down the opportunity I might regret it all my life. Everyone I spoke to
agreed," Owen told the Times.

"In some ways I had to get it out of my system, a bit like owning a
boy-racer car and yet, looking back, I knew that after about two months that
I was doing one year and one year only.
"I knew quickly that I wasn't going to take to it."

Owen also admits the frequent change of manager - he played under three
different coaches while at El Bernabeu - was also traumatic.

"You need the trust of your manager but I was scoring goals and still coming
off," added Owen.
("你需要教練的信任，但是當我進球後卻不能上場。")
"It sickens you and you think 'I want to go home'.
("這讓你感到很難受，且會讓你有種感覺想要回家。")
"I am glad for the experience even if the main thing I learned was that
living abroad is not for me."
(縱使在那邊我學到了我不適合在國外踢球，我仍然對於在那的經驗感到高興。)
