FORMER Newcastle United boss Glenn Roeder has told the club's supporters -
'I was proud to be your manager'.

The 51-year-old resigned from his position on Monday after 15 months at the
Gallowgate helm.
And Roeder has paid tribute to the black and white fans as he thanked them
for their support during his time on Tyneside.
Roeder感謝所有的支持者對他在泰茵河畔的15個月的支持。
"They are the best fans in the country and I wanted to bring them success,"
he said.
"I wish the new manager the best but, most importantly, I want to convey my
sincere thanks and affection to all Newcastle fans.
"They have been an inspiration to me both during my playing and managerial
career. It was a great honour to be their manager."
