Owen happy with fitness
By Alex Livie - Created on 3 May 2007
Michael Owen says he has come through Monday's defeat to Reading unscathed
and is looking to play a part in Newcastle's remaining games this season.
Owen put almost a year of injury torment behind him when making his first
start of the season on Monday.
The striker could not prevent Newcastle slipping to defeat, but got a full
90 minutes under his belt following his serious knee injury.
Owen is in the frame to play for England against Brazil in June and he
claims he will be available for selection, provided he suffers no injury
setback.

相信能完成剩下的兩場聯賽
並以入選英格蘭大軍對巴西為目標前進
"That's up to the England manager if he picks me," Owen said on Sky Sports
News. "I have never said no to playing for my country."
On his fitness, Owen added: "I am fine, I am 100 per cent fit.
Owen說:"只要賽車人需要我,我就會去。我感覺很好,狀態100%"
"I have been 100 per cent fit for a few weeks now and if I am 100 per cent
fit then I am available for selection for Newcastle and available for selection
for England."
Magpies chief Glenn Roeder expects Owen to be available for England,
provided he comes through the final two games of the season.
"If he plays the last three games he will be fully fit and because of the
Fifa rules we will have to release him," said Roeder.
