Nintendo's handheld systems would also see a bit of RPG love from Mario as
well. The Game Boy Advance saw the release of Mario and Luigi: Superstar
Saga, a dual-playing adventure where the brothers would have to battle all
kinds of dangers using their abilities to survive. The game was a big hit,
and now is part of the Player's Choice program for a mere $20. Last year, a
sequel arrived for the Nintendo DS in the form of Mario and Luigi: Partners
In Time, a fun game that actually pitted an alien race of mushrooms against
the likes of Mario and Luigi, both old (current form) and young (baby form).
任天堂的掌上遊樂器也同樣獲得一些馬力歐 RPG關愛的眼神。在 GBA 平台上有
Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga，這是一款可以兩人協力運用能力通過各種
難關的遊戲。這遊戲一樣也引起了大迴響，而現在也是廉價版方案其中一個選擇
，只需要美金 20 圓。去年 NDS平台上推出此系列的續作，其名稱為 Mario and
Luigi: Partners In Time。這是款與外星蘑菇種族抗衡的有趣遊戲，遊戲中有

Mario wraps up the current saga? We'll have to wait and see.

Sports 運動系列
Believe it or not, a plumber like Mario is able to show his sporting side
very easily. This all began back on the NES when he made appearances in a
number of sports titles, be it as a referee in Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! or as
a playable golfer in their Vs. Golf title. But it wasn't until Mario Golf
arrived on the Nintendo 64 that Mario truly struck a big hit in terms of
sports entertainment best suited for him. Created by Camelot, that game
helped bring forth a fun, playable engine similar to that of their previous
hit, Hot Shots Golf for the PlayStation, but better suited to Mario's style
and universe of play. The game would be a major hit for the N64 and would
soon spawn a follow-up in the immensely enjoyable tennis game, Mario Tennis.

是由 Camelot 所製作，帶來更多的歡樂，遊玩引擎與他們之前在 PlayStation
上的大作－全民高爾夫十分相似，卻是卻更加適合馬力歐的型態以及遊戲範疇。
這遊戲是 N64平台上的大作且隨後產生了極為好玩的網球遊戲－馬力歐網球。
The GameCube, however, would see the big flourish of sports games for the
company. Along with souped-up versions of Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour and
Mario Power Tennis, both packing hours of multiplayer goodness, the system
would also see two new releases out of the Nintendo sports camp- Mario
Superstar Baseball from the minds at Namco, and Super Mario Strikers, a take
on soccer that featured plenty of explosive results, from ramming enemies
into an electrical fence to unleashing some of the most vicious, powerful
ball kicks in the history of a soccer game.
而在之後的 GameCube 平台也有相當多數的運動遊戲。像是升級的馬力歐高爾夫
－ Toadstool Tour 還有馬力歐強力網球這些遊戲都有挺耐玩的多人對戰優點，
在此平台上有兩款新的運動遊戲－ Namco 提議的馬力歐超級明星棒球以及馬力
歐足球。馬力歐足球有許多爆炸性的結果，像是把敵人撞進通電的柵欄裡或是使
出足球史上最為兇猛、有力的足球射門。
The handhelds saw a variety of releases as well. The Game Boy Advance saw
portable versions of Mario Tennis and Mario Golf, complete with
role-playing-esque elements that allowed players to build their legacy in
their legitimate sports. And the DS is about to get a taste of sporting
goodness, as Mario Hoops 3-On-3, from the folks at Square Enix, will be
dribbling its way courtside for the Nintendo DS later this year.
掌上遊戲機也同樣出了很多種類的馬力歐運動遊戲。 GBA平台上有攜帶版的馬力
網球及高爾夫都有角色扮演的要素這讓玩家在正統的運動遊戲下建立繼承要素。
而 NDS平台也即將有運動系列的好物，像是與 Square Enix 合作的馬力歐三對
三鬥牛也將在今年稍後問世，這款遊戲甚至可以藉由 NDS的觸碰功能作出運球的
動作。
