Being the Air

To avoid the tension of expectation
Looking forward to
seeing the one waiting in the dark
One chooses
Disappearing like the air
Floating among the stars
To earnestly hide the yearning, the dire longing
The drag to chase the shadow in memory
Is suction of time
like a black hole
the thoughts, the patience
slurped by the past
only the vacuumed body left
as light as the air
flying into the sky
the dissipation, the subsidence
in the buoyance
vaporizes the one,
ceases the torment of being.
