致命颶風Katrina猛攻海灣沿岸歷史城
不僅橫掃建築公共建設,
也將公平正義蕩盡
詩作
閃電天空粉碎厚雲為毛雨
善變氣候不啻春天後母心
雨滴遍散各處
人們開始向四方奔逃
雨下態勢若洪水傾倒
大水啜盡非洲音樂與爵士文化中心
“你搶我殺”成了每日標語
取代原先隨處可見的悠閒表演
我們為音樂麥迦聖地崩潰哀悼
何處朝聖者可再次尋得
安慰與罪惡靈魂的救贖?
水越集聚就越沉淪了
人類對帝國主義的信任
利潤最大化與效率
已無能解說 貧富不均
貧者為茍活而搶奪
而所付代價卻是終生監禁或死亡
無人應為此財富不均感到驕傲
因為這羞恥感並未均分給每一人

: instead of the original laid back performance everywhere.
: We mourn for the collapse of a musical Mecca
: where the pilgrims look for
: Consolation and redemption of sinful souls.
: The more water gathered the more sunk
: Of the human trust in imperialism
: Equity and efficiency can no longer interpret the
: the disparity between the rich and the poor
: The poor loot for staying alive
: But the price they pay is sentenced for life or death
: No one should be proud of this uneven distribution of wealth.
: Because the shame is not evenly distributed to everyone.
