為 Be Here Now 說話,而我覺得還頗有觀點的...
他主要是在質疑那些所謂"樂評"的搖擺不定...
Be Here Now 剛出來的時候跟之後的評價簡直是兩極化...
同樣的情形也發生在 Morning Glory 身上
想當初 Morning Glory 剛發片時被批的很慘
但現在卻成了每個雜誌報紙上'90的代表專輯也是 Oasis 最受到好評的...
可見大家還是要有自己的感覺,不要被旁人或樂評牽著走....

Subject: [Noelrock] Be Here Now....
I can't understand why people slag off ' Be Here Now' so much? I think it is
a brilliant album and so did all the critics when they first heard
it.......I remember reading al the reviews and veryone was amazed by it, but
once a few people start to put it down they all follow and everyone ends up
agreeing that it was a poor album without really thinking about it, or
listening to it again.
I remember when 'Whats the Story' was released and it was completely the
opposite....they slated it....a few weeks later they loved it and it was one
of the biggest albums ever. So I'm kind of hoping that the critics are not
impressed by 'Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants'!
Anyway now I've got that off my chest I think you all should go and put 'Be
Here Now' on and remind yourselves of the greatness of songs such as 'The
Girl In The Dirty Shirt' and 'Don't Go Away' then tell me what you think!
