What's a Bootleg?
Basically a 'bootleg' is a copy of rare or live material that has not been
officially released. Bootlegs are often demos of songs, or full concerts or
radio and tv sessions by bands. With the communication power of the internet,
bootlegs are now being swapped and traded all accross the world. With the
reduced cost of making your own CD's. The CD-R is becoming the most popular
way of trading bootlegs.
Legal Warning: technically bootlegs are illegal, but the good news is,
unless you're selling large quantities of boots you'll probably never get
into trouble.
