因此便於專輯生產前夕
把他們倆的部份抽掉,自己重新製作演奏
據國外網友表示
他們拿到的新專輯內頁竟然也只有Noel, Liam和Whitey三個人的照片
可見Noel好像是真的想要"忘掉過去",展開Oasis的另一個階段...
Oasis這次的重新出擊預計會順利地登上專輯榜的第一名
Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants在英國的首賣日就已經創下超過十萬張的佳績

EX-MEMBERS OF OASIS CANNOT BE HEARD ON NEW ALBUM

The Oasis members who quit the band after finishing the new album cannot be
heard on the new release which hit the shops yesterday, Noel Gallagher has
revealed.
And the guitarist has told for the first time that the bass parts played by
Paul "Guigsy" McGuigan were dropped from Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants,
and he re-recorded some of the tracks himself.
"What they played wasn't really much cop anyway so now they're not in the
band I don't mind about putting some noses out of joint," he told Q magazine.
Bass player Guigsy and rhythm guitarist Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs quit the
group last summer after working on the fourth album at a French chateau.
They said they wanted to spend more time with their families and have not
been in contact with the rest of the band since. It had been assumed their
contributions to the album remained on the finished product.
But Gallagher told the April edition of Q: "Guigs didn't play anything on the
album. I think Bonehead might be on it - not that you'd hear him though.
After Guigs left we started again with the bass, redone it all."
Songwriter Gallagher, the band's unofficial leader, added that he had played
bass on six of the tracks.
Oasis are guaranteed the number one spot at the weekend after a huge burst of
sales when the album hit the shops on Monday. They are thought to have sold
around 100,000 copies in one day.
