SCREEN legend Elizabeth Taylor is heading home to England after 60 years in
America - to become one of Liam Gallagher's neighbours.
The actress is buying a house in trendy Primrose Hill, northwest London.
A source admitted last night: "Liz is buying a place there. She's on her way=
home."
Liz will join some of the biggest young stars in showbiz when she moves to
the ultra-chic area.
Oasis ace Liam and his wife Patsy Kensit live there - as do George Michael
and movie stars Sadie Frost and Jude Law.
Zoe Ball and hubby Fatboy Slim divide their time between a ￡1 million home=
in
Primrose Hill and their other house in Brighton.
The Spice Girls' HQ is also in the area, while Arsenal and France footballer=
Emmanuel Petit has a pad there, too.
One Primrose Hill resident said last night: "It would be funny to see Liz
walking down the street, heading for the local pub.
"Having her here will certainly put Liam Gallagher in the shade."
Eight-times-wed Liz, who became a Dame in the New Year honours list, was
brought up in Golders Green.
She moved to Los Angeles at seven. But now the movie superstar has decided t=
o
come home.
Liz, 67, already has three homes in America - in Los Angeles, New York and
Palm Springs - as well as a pad in upmarket Swiss ski resort Gstaad.
But rumour has it she'll make the Primrose Hill home her main base.
The late Richard Burton, whom Liz married and divorced twice, once owned a
home in nearby Hampstead which became a lovenest for the pair.
It was announced last week that Liz would be visiting London this spring.
She will join Elton John and Diana Ross at a concert for Aids charities at
London's Royal Albert Hall on April 26.
Now it seems she'll use the trip to put permanent roots down in Britain.
