The Oasis mastermind's revelation comes in Thursday's (May 25) edition of British tabloid The Sun, with Noel saying he can no longer work with his brother. This comes just days after Noel admitted he could no longer handle touring with the band. Noel said: "He's the singer so we have a professional relationship. We don't have a relationship outside the band. We are not good at playing happy families." Noel launched at his brother over Liam's comments recently that he "born to be a star". Noel responded: "That's all bullshit! Stars don't walk dogs and stars don't feed babies. Stars don't do the washing up. "Real lie is with your baby and your wife and the sink full of dirty dishes and somebody who has got to walk the dogs. So I would say to anybody who considers himself being a fucking star, how does he consider living in the real world? "He's just a normal kid with a good voice singing in a good band. It's as simple as that. He's a singer. Singers have massive egos." "If he was sitting next to me he'd do all the talking and I'd be looking into the distance. He talks too much." Noel confirmed that he does not want to tour with the band overseas anymore, but that he has not completely left Oasis, hinting saying his contributions in the future will revolve around writing and recording for the band. Noel also said that he considered himself a "human being" first and a rock star second, and said he hoped that in five years time he would be retired, producing the "coolest new band in England". In the article, new Oasis touring guitarist Matt Deighton also said he hadn't yet met Liam Gallagher - or indeed learnt all of the band's songs. The band's next gig - after the remainder of the French dates were cancelled - is in Milan on May 30. Thu May 25 2000 10:57 GMT Cheers! Patsy "Gallagher" -- I'd wake up in the night sweating, feeling like I couldn't breathe and that I was going to die. It was a dark time for me. --Noel Gallagher on his past life -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.twbbs.org) ◆ From: stmail.fju.edu.tw
