新一波的"布綠戰爭"卻於最近悄悄地點燃了
只不過這次是小規模而單向的吧...
導火線是Blur的貝斯手Alex James
他於日前新單曲擠進英榜十大接受訪問時
除了一再保證Blur絕對不會解散之外
在被問到對近來Oasis頭頭Noel出走事件的觀感時
也毫不留情地諷刺道,
"You know, it occurred to me recently that Noel now lives in a big, big house,
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
a very big house in the country. The old wonderwall's looking a bit sad too."

Blur v's Oasis - it's war again!
BLUR bassist Alex James – currently at Number Ten on the UK
singles
chart with his 'other' band Fat Les and their Euro 2000
anthem 'Jerusalem' - has taken a swipe at old rivals Oasis and
insisted that Blur are not splitting up after the release of their
forthcoming greatest hits album.
Asked whether Oasis should call it a day following Noel Gallagher's
mid-tour walk-out, Alex laughed: "You know, it occurred to me
recently that Noel now lives in a big, big house, a very big house in
the country. The old wonderwall's looking a bit sad too."
Alex also offered some comfort for the many Blur fans who have
contacted Music365 expressing fears that the imminent Blur best-of
album might signal the beginning of the end for the band.
"We've got plans to start on new songs later in the year," he
reveals, "but right now there are lots of babies around. Damon and
Graham have got them."
On the subject of guitarist Graham Coxon's solo album 'The Golden D',
Alex enthused: "Graham's record is great. The bastard's done it all
himself, he's played everything on it, and he's done it really
quickly. One of the songs, 'Oochy Woochy' sounds like a hit and he's
touring too.
"It's quite heavy metal in places. Graham's record collection is the
reason I got an aeroplane. No, seriously, his taste is impeccable.
Admittedly, the Slint years were a little hard to bear, but I think
he's over that now."
Is Alex out of order having a pop at Noel Gallagher? Is it just sour
grapes because Blur were never as big as Oasis? Or is Alex right to
