Oasis Banned From US Airwaves
After the terrorist attacks on the United States on September 11th,
Texas-based ClearChannel Communications - which owns more than 1,200
radio stations in the USA, circulated a list of songs banned from
being played. After the media found out about the list, ClearChannel
reps backpedalled and insisted it was only a "suggested list" of
songs that "might not be appropriate".

The original list was circulated by Jack Evans, vice president of
programming for Clear Channel Radio's Western Division, to program
directors and station managers from Denver to the West Coast, company
spokesman Pam Taylor told Reuters.
"Yeah right. Sounds like censorship to me. If your boss sends you a list and
tells you not to play something, are you gonna play it anyway and
risk getting fired?!"
然而一位員工表示，上頭老闆的這份名單，你膽敢冒險違抗嗎？
Along with songs like "Imagine" by John Lennon, "Dust in the Wind" by
Kansas and "It's A Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong, OASIS were on
the banned list with their songs "LIVE FOREVER" and "CHAMPAGNE
SUPERNOVA".
真不敢相信上列這些歌都被禁了-_-~
