爆出了為什麼讓 Proud Mary 做 supporting band 的原因
原來是他和頭頭 Noel一次酒吧的小酌種下的"醉果"

one night with Noel,' he confessed.

Noel and Kelly's drunken deal
Stereophonics today released details of the support acts lined up to
play at their two summer festival dates during a press conference at
Donington Race Track and Kelly revealed that a drunken chat with Noel
Gallagher led to confirmation of one of the acts.
The gigs take place at Donington Race Track on 14 July and Chepstow
Race Course on 21 July and the trio announced that Ash, Black Crowes
and a little known band called Proud Mary will be supporting them.
Proud Mary are none other than Noel Gallagher's new act and Kelly
jokingly told worldpop that it was the effects of a drinking spree
which caused him to agree to their appearance.
'I drunkenly agreed to Proud Mary supporting us when I was in the pub
one night with Noel,' he confessed.
He also explained the real reason why the band had chosen to perform
at the two-date festivals as opposed to doing a tour of stadium
venues. 'We chose these two dates instead of stadium gigs because
smaller festival dates are far better organised and the sound's
better than stadiums, which are crap.'
The group release their new single Mr Writer today but they don't
think it will knock Hear'Say off the top spot. 'You can't knock a
soap opera off the top,' said drummer Stuart Cable. 'I hear they're
playing Donington next year,' joked Kelly.
It was no joking matter when Stereophonics were force to change the
title of their album at the last hour from J.E.E.P. to the full title
Just Enough Education To Perform and Kelly told of their anger
following the objections from car manufactures Chrysler. 'We had the
artwork ready and then were told we couldn't use it. I was p****d
off,' said Kelly before cheering up to reveal that, 'fans have
started wearing f**k Chrysler t-shirts at our gigs now, which is
cool.'
