個人覺得新貝斯手Andy Bell頗帥的哩;) 不過他好像比較"酷"
新吉他手Gem Archer倒是滿常露出笑容的...

What made you decide to leave Hurricane #1 and join Oasis, why you are
playing bass and not lead guitar? Will there be a chance for you to play
guitar with Oasis?
是什麼原因讓你決定離開Hurricane #1並且加入Oasis? 為什麼你是負責貝斯而非
主音吉他? 你在未來有可能會為Oasis彈吉他嗎?
Hurricane#1 were on holiday when this all happened. Oasis found out I was
available when they heard I was going to be playing session guitar for Gay
Dad. I auditioned for Oasis and was asked me to join as a permanent member.
It just felt right to call it a day with Hurricane#1 at that point. As for
the bass question, there are already two great guitarists in the band, and
I'm very happy on the bass.
當時Hurricane#1正處於休息的狀態.Oasis得知我因空閒兼差為Gay Dad演奏吉他便覺得
我似乎可以來暫代(Guigy貝斯的)空缺.沒想到我一去試音便被要求加入Oasis當個正式
的團員.身處於這個轉折點上,我只覺得是該結束和Hurricane #1的合作關係所以就做了
這樣的決定.至於當貝斯手的問題,既然團裡已經有兩個不錯的吉他手,我也就樂於當個
盡職的貝絲手囉!

Live Forever, or something else from the first album probably, although my
favourite to play is Wonderwall.

Was there a band or song that REALLY turned you onto music? Made you HAVE to
get a guitar?

What was the first gig with Oasis in the USA like?
第一次和Oasis在美國做現場的感覺?
It was mindblowing. Stepping on stage, it seemed like the whole world was
watching me, but I forgot about it as soon as I played the first note.
Luckily I had a great gig and came offstage feeling wonderful.
令人目眩神迷吧! 當我一站上舞台,就像是全世界的人都在注視著我一樣.不過當我彈出
第一個音符時我就完全忘記自我甩掉緊張了.很幸運地經歷了一場很棒的演唱會並且帶著

What are the differences between playing with Oasis and Hurricane #1/Ride?
在Hurricane#1與和Oasis一起演唱有什麼不同?
It's all very different, but there is a lot of common ground as well. The
main difference is that I'm playing bass now not guitar, which completely
changes the way you hear and play the music.
可以說是非常不一樣但卻也有相同的地方.最主要的差別當然是以前是彈吉他而現在在
Oasis是彈貝斯啦.這樣的轉換多少會改變自己跟節奏聽音樂的方式習慣吧!
