[外電] Orioles sign Randy Wolf

The Orioles have signed pitcher Randy Wolf, CBSSports.com insider Jon Heyman
reported Tuesday.

Wolf, 36, was released by the Brewers on Aug. 22 amid the worst season of his
career. In 24 starts, Wolf leads the NL in hits allowed (179) and earned runs
allowed (90). For his career, however, the lefty has a 4.19 ERA in 2,252.2
innings.

The Orioles could be looking at Wolf as a starting pitcher, as he would
likely replace Miguel Gonzalez, Steve Johnson or Zach Britton.

Though Wolf has started his whole career, he could give the Orioles a
much-needed left-handed reliever since Troy Patton is out with an injured
ankle.
