BALTIMORE (TICKER) —The Baltimore Orioles on Sunday acquired reserve outfielder Felix Pie from the Chicago Cubs for lefthander Garrett Olson and minor league reliever Henry Williamson. Named Chicago's top minor league prospect in 2007 by Baseball America, Pie was unable to win a starting job on a regular basis with the Cubs. He was limited to 43 games last season, batting just .241, and spent the majority of the year at Class AAA Iowa. A native of the Dominican Republic, Pie originally was signed by the Cubs as an undrafted free agent in 2001. He made his professional debut the next year at the age of 17. Baltimore's sandwich pick in the 2005 draft, Olson, 25, posted a 9-10 record with a 6.65 ERA in 26 starts for the Orioles last season. Williamson, 23, was the Orioles’14th-round selection in the 2007 draft. He went 0-1 with two saves and 3.72 ERA in 20 combined appearances last season with Class-A Aberdeen and Class A Delmarva. -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 218.171.153.33
