在今日的冬季會議中，Beattie和Ponson的經紀人Barry Praver會談了15分鐘，
Praver據說和紅雀也談了很久。
Beattie 表示 :
"Our priority is to try to find some bats to help us score some runs,
but if we're not able to accomplish that, there are other ways we can go,
And it may work out that way. To be honest, it may end up where we sign a
fairly solid starting pitcher."

西雅圖開出了3年25M的價碼，而且預估在談的時候還會加碼。據說金鶯也offer
了3年27M的合約。

據說金鶯開出了三年18~21M的合約，應該在這禮拜會有結果...
