BALTIMORE (AP)—Outfielder Luke Scott and the Baltimore Orioles have agreed to a $4.05 million, one-year contract, avoiding arbitration. The 31-year-old Scott played in 128 games last year, hitting .258 and setting career highs with 25 homers and 77 RBIs. He made $2.4 million. Obtained in a December 2007 trade with the Houston Astros, Scott has a career .264 batting average, 76 home runs and 247 RBIs.
