How Big Can You Think?
Project overview and job responsibilities:
- Search Engine Comparison among Baidu, Google, and Yahoo!CN
- Analyze the daily query log and search result from Baidu
CN, to identify the strength and weakness in these engines based on RCFP
- Study the user log, click to classify the query, and generate statistic
data of query classification for Yahoo!CN
- To code Y!CN click log collection logic for bucket testing
Minimum job qualifications:
- MS/Ph.D students in CS or equivalent
- One of foreign language fluency
- The candidate should have the information retrieval background
Preferable job qualifications:
- MS/Ph.D students in CS or equivalent
- The candidate should have the information retrieval background
- Perl, PHP, C/C++ programming skill
