Artest在公牛時期防守就小有名氣了

公牛在Jackson退休後至今一共有三位教練，第一是誰我忘了
                                      (查半天查不到~"~)
Artest生涯的前兩季(99~00球季到00~01)都是由這位我忘記名字的教練執教

唯一記得的是這位教練也是在公牛90年代退休的球員

也就是幫Jackson打過球

Artest在公牛的最後一季01~02那年公牛換了教練，Cartwright

也是公牛90年代初期的中鋒，當時會請他執教一方面是公牛的前朝元老

而且也想要培養Chandler和Curry的關係

雖然我個人覺得其實Artest的防守跟總教練關係不大

說不定是助理教練或是大學教練的功勞

或者是套句史蒂芬周的話：這種事是看天份的

在02年的的一月十二號當時公牛對上了湖人

Brad Miller卯起來對O'neal犯規，又撲又打只差沒咬下去

到第四節終於幹起來，兩個人一起被趕出去，Miller跟O'neal一起被驅逐出場

最後公牛還在延長賽以106比104險勝湖人

這場緯來有轉播過，我還記得O'neal這場被Chandler蓋鍋

Miller就此一戰成名，在那之後沒多久Miller就和Artest交易到溜馬來

overall atmosphere improved in Chicago last season. Bill Cartwright took
over as head coach during the season and speeded up the process of developing
the team's young talent,mainly Tyson Chandler and Eddy Curry. The team traded
away its nucleus of Ron Artest, Ron Mercer, Brad Miller and Kevin Ollie to
Indiana in exchange for Jalen Rose and Travis Best. In 30 games with the Bulls,
Rose averaged 23.8 ppg.
