Report: Toronto may get Bulls' Rose in multi-player deal

CHICAGO -- The Bulls and Raptors are reportedly close to a trade
that would send swingman Jalen Rose to Toronto.

In exchange, Chicago would acquire forward Jerome Williams, guard
Alvin Williams and guard/forward Morris Peterson.

WGN radio in Chicago is reporting that the deal could also include
forward Donyell Marshall going to the Raptors with Toronto center
Antonio Davis going to the Bulls.

Rose, who is in his 10th NBA season, is averaging 15.3 points, 4.3
rebounds and 4.1 assists per game this year. The 30-year-old Rose
has been in Chicago since the 2001-02 season when he traded from
Indiana on Feb. 19, 2002.

The Michigan product was selected by the Denver Nuggets in the
first round (13th pick overall) of the 1994 NBA Draft before he
was traded to Indiana where he was with the Pacers for five-plus
seasons. In 687 career games, Rose has averaged 14.4 points, 4.1
assists and 3.6 rebounds per contest.

Rose was reportedly ticked off earlier this season by being labeled
as a scapegoat for early season losses. Rose was pulled out of the
starting lineup of a November 8 game against New Orleans. Rose had
started in 323 straight games until that point and said he was angry
about being benched by head coach Bill Cartwright.
