玫瑰轉戰多倫多，加入暴龍第一件事就是要跟新隊友 Michael Bradley打個
商量，那個「五號」球衣讓給我好不好？

玫瑰說「五號」對他的意義實在很重大，他可以說一大串故事告訴你他為什
麼如此熱愛「五號」，像是密西根五虎（Fab Five）啊、他是家中排行第五
個小孩啊、他最喜歡的球員是魔術強森，而魔術的背號是 32，3 + 2 = 5。
所以五號最棒了（瓶子：實在太會凹了吧 >_<）。

不管怎麼樣，五號跟隨玫瑰多年，所以他衷心希望 Bradley 能夠成全他。

Bradley 加入暴龍兩年，兩年來都是用這個號碼。面對玫瑰的請求，他沒有
花多少時間就同意了這位新隊友的要求，五號給你？沒問題啦。Bradley 另
外選了前隊友 Antonio Davis離隊前所使用的 33 號做為他的新背號（瓶子
：我猜這可能有一段故事吧，也許 Bradley 想承接 Davis 的意志，好好在
暴龍延續 Davis 為這支球隊所付出的貢獻）。

玫瑰，加油；Davis 也加油；Bradley 加油。

No. 5 has Jalen Rose's name on it

Once the introductory handshakes and first day of practice had been
completed, the negotiations were just beginning for Jalen Rose and
Michael Bradley. It was nothing like an exchange of draft picks or
players to be named later.

Dating back to his college days at Michigan, Rose has worn jersey
No. 5 and was keen on wearing the number in his new NBA beginning
in Toronto.

The problem is that Bradley has worn the jersey number since the
Raptors drafted him two years ago. But it didn't take long for the
two to reach a deal.

"Financial terms will not be discussed,'' Rose said. "But I did
have to auction my number back."

Bradley was more than willing to give Rose the No. 5. Until he
joined the NBA, Bradley's chosen number was 33, which belonged
to Antonio Davis. Davis is now in Chicago.

"Any time you have a number it gains meaning,'' Rose said of the
No. 5. "It's kind of like a nickname as the years go on."

There are plenty of reasons for Rose's choice.

"The Fab Five, I was the fifth child in my family. My favourite
player was Magic (Johnson) and he wore 32 and three plus two
equals five.

"There are so many things I can say."
