English, Fuller, Walls Taken in NBDL Draft

The Pacers don't have an official farm team in Charleston, SC. It's
just working out that way.
With their first three picks in Thursday's NBDL Draft, the Lowgators
selected former Pacers campers. First-round pick Rolan Roberts, a 6-7
forward from Southern Illinois, was with the Pacers during the summer
of 2002. Second-round pick Carl English, a 6-5 guard from Hawaii, was
with the Pacers until the final cut of training camp this year.
Third-round pick Hiram Fuller, a 6-9 forward from Fresno State, played
well in the summer league and was invited to training camp but was among
the first cuts.
Point guard Omar Cook, another late cut by the Pacers this year, has
returned to the Fayeteville (NC) Patriots, where he spent the previous
two seasons.
In addition, Jaquay Walls was drafted in the seventh round by the
Asheville Altitude. Walls, a 6-3 guard from Colorado, was the
Pacers' second-round pick (No. 56 overall) in 2000.
