精華區beta PACERS 關於我們 聯絡資訊
Fisrt of all, we all agree that Harrington is worth a starting spot on most teams in the league. It's our crowded front court the only limit that restrains this young player from rising as a star, so trading Harrington away looks like kind of a reward he deserves, as well as an opportunity for him to further prove himself. In fact, it's rumored that some teams have shown interest in acquiring him. Secondly, to make room out of our payroll for free-agent signing and future contract extension, we definitely intend to get rid of Croshere and Pollard, who act in limited roles in the past season, along with their huge contracts. It's believed the Pacers do not protect them for the upcoming expansion draft, chances are they won't be drafted by the Bobcats, though. It's my observation that our weakness lies on the back court, where we lack speed, activity and depth. Remember how we were overwhelmed by Wade, a rookie poing guard, in the second round. Thus it would be the top priority to strengthen the back court. Above are some brief thoughts of my own. I ain't much interested in discussing, if not analyzing, the many rumors here 'cause rumors are no more than rumors until they actually happen, and discussions on the topic often end up nowhere. The only sure thing now is that we'll see some transactions this summer. I have faith in Walsh and Bird that they will do what's best for our beloved Pacers. -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 140.112.251.104
