Jackson: I had no choice
Jackson, who was introduced to the Toronto media Friday afternoon, accused the
Pacers of leaving him with no choice but to leave by making a low-ball offer.
"I have no problems with Indiana; I'm not here to bash them," Jackson said.
"However, they didn't step up to the plate. Deep down, the people with the
power didn't want me back."
Pacers president Donnie Walsh denied the charge.
"That's not true -- at least in my case if that's who he's talking about,"
Walsh said. "Of anybody, I was probably the one who wanted him here the most."
Jackson will be reunited with former Pacers teammate Antonio Davis in Toronto.
Davis joined the Raptors last season after a draft day trade.
"I think it's going to be a great situation," Davis said Friday. "I was
happier than anybody. I had been talking to (Raptors general manager Glen
Grunwald) about getting him up here.
"We've needed his leadership and somebody who could run the show."
還有 Croshere認為Pacers在Rose與Best聯手擔任控球這位置
可以表現得更好呢...:P
（應該是說他有更多的時間上場了 甚或是可以先發打小前鋒囉~~:p）
