Nash and Chicago Bulls guard Ben Gordon were named NBA Players of the
Week on Monday.

The two-time reigning MVP, Nash received Western Conference honors for
the second straight week and the third time this season, averaging 22.5
points and 14.8 assists in orchestrating the Suns to a 4-0 record last
week.

Nash, who collected his eighth career weekly award, capped his outstanding
week with 23 points and 15 assists in Sunday's 115-100 victory over
 Cleveland, Phoenix's franchise-record 17th consecutive win.

The first player in Suns franchise history to win the weekly award in
consecutive weeks, Nash is averaging 19.6 points and a league-leading
11.8 assists this season for Phoenix, which has won 33 of its last 35
games and is on the NBA's longest winning streak since Chicago won 18
straight in the 1995-96 campaign.
