hips or knees rather than pressed against each other for high fives.

The postgame locker room was so quiet you could hear a 17-game winning streak
drop.

This was so different, this feeling of being outscored for the first time
since the calendar turned to 2007. And even stranger, they had a hard time
blaming themselves for a 121-112 loss at Minnesota that ended one of the

kissed a tight game goodbye with a 17-point fourth quarter that may have
finally showed some weary bodies in a fifth road game in seven days.

penetration and cutting off chances for frontcourt players to fill.

The Suns can get overly enchanted with three-pointers. As integral as they
are, their frequency cut off any hope at a balanced attack. When that was all
they had to go to in the fourth, hitting 4 of 14 threes was not enough with
Kevin Garnett going bonkers, and "It's happy birthday to Mark Madsen," as
Raja Bell said. Amaré Stoudemire's fourth-quarter impact was stepping out of
bounds, a three-second violation and getting stripped by Trenton Hassell in
the post. By then, it was a 116-107 hole with 2:29 to go.
