It might have taken a visit from a team that is as bad on the road as a truc
k driver who is short on sleep.

太陽的上一個客場(對金塊)就如同卡車司机開車沒睡夠覺一樣糟糕.

But after the beatings the Suns endured in their previous two games, anythin
g resembling the Suns' brand of basketball constitutes a pick-me-up.

不過在經歷過去的兩場敗仗后，太陽招牌式的打法又恢复了活力.

The Suns extended the Minnesota Timberwolves' road losing streak to 11 games
with a 108-90 victory Tuesday night at US Airways Center. It brought back
memories from earlier in the season and clinched the team's third consecutive
Pacific Division title and sixth overall. The magic number had been stuck at
one since Friday.

太陽昨晚在美航中心以108-90送給灰狼一個客場11連敗，太陽也迎來連續第三年
的分區冠軍，同時也是歷史上第六次.這個數字太陽已經等了兩場比賽了(因為對活塞和
金塊都輸了)

"We're not going to celebrate," Suns guard Steve Nash said before the team left
its locker room with several title-toting T-shirts and hats cast aside.
"We've got a lot of work to do. We want to win (an NBA) championship."
"我們沒打算慶祝",Nash在對灰狼賽后离開更衣室前這么說,"我們還有很長的路
要走,總冠軍才是我們的目標" 此時更衣室里留有不少慶祝的T-shirt和帽子.

The title-cinching game included familiar facets that had been absent for a
while.
這場對灰狼的比賽,很多熟悉的元素又回來了.

Raja Bell made six three-pointers, his most since Jan. 26, and scored a team
-high 22 points.
Raja Bell拿下個人自1月26日以來的最高分22分,也是本場比賽球隊最高,其中
包括6個三分.

Boris Diaw came off the bench and out of his rut. He tallied 11 points and nine
assists, his best total since Jan. 15. He also had six rebounds, as many as he
posted in the previous four games combined.
Boris Diaw替補登場并且貢獻不小.全場11分9助攻的表現是個人自1月15日以來的
最佳表現.而這場的6個籃板等同于過去四場他籃板數的總和.

Kurt Thomas grabbed nine rebounds, his best total in the past eight games, a
nd blocked three shots for the first time since Dec. 19.

Jalen Rose saw his first significant playing time in four months and scored
eight in 13 minutes, prompting D'Antoni to say he would extend his rotation
time for four or five games.

Nearly overlooked was Amare Stoudemire's quietest game since he went scorele
ss against New Orleans on Nov. 22. His four-point game ended Stoudemire's 55
-game streak of double-figure scoring. The new starting five, with Leandro
Barbosa in place of Diaw, kicked up the tempo but began both halves roughly.
Phoenix did not bust a tight game open until the third quarter, when Bell
scored 16 and the defense shut down everyone not named Kevin Garnett (30 point
s and 16 rebounds).
Amare的表現差點讓大家忘記他了.不過對灰狼只拿下4分是自11月22日對黃蜂以來
的最低得分.同時55場連續兩位數得分的記錄也宣告終止.新的先發中,Barbosa代替了Diaw
的位置,加快節奏的同時上下半場的剛開始打得有點辛苦.太陽直到第三節才确定优勢,
本節Bell拿下16分,同時灰狼除了KG外全都啞火.

Diaw's performance was the night's highlight. His back had tightened as recent
games went on, but he was brilliant in the second half Tuesday with deft
passing and two moves to the rim when he was not double-teamed, resulting in
 a dunking three-point play and a reverse lay-in amid a 14-0 Suns run.
Diaw的表現也值得一提.最近的比賽中他的背部又開始發緊,不過對灰狼比賽中
下半場表現卻相當搶眼.傳球到位,同時兩次沖向籃下-一個三分打，一次反身上籃－
為太陽帶來一波14-0的攻勢.

"It rung a bell, the fact that we had two big losses," Diaw said. "We want t
o be ready for the playoffs, and we can't just wave it off. We've got to be
ready. We can't rely on our talent and say, 'When the playoffs come, we'll b
e good.' We've got to play to our best level possible. We didn't do that the
 last two games, and we got it back."
"過去的兩場慘敗為我們敲響了警鐘",Diaw說,"我們應該為季后賽開始准備.准備
不是簡單的對季后賽擺擺手,而是應當潛心准備.我們不能只是依靠個人天賦或者是用
‘季后賽到來時我們肯定會准備好的"來安慰自己. 每場比賽都應該竭盡所能
過去(輸掉的)兩場我們沒做好,現在我們要開始發揮了.
