After a week in the frying pan, the Suns look cooked. Once again, they have
given new life to the complainers and critics.
在煎鍋中掙扎了一個禮拜后,太陽看起來已經被烤熟了.(是在說賽程辛苦？)

Their two victories against Texas teams (Houston, Dallas) were shining examples
of their relentlessness and resiliency. But subsequent losses to Detroit and
Denver were humiliating affairs that illustrated their recurring issues with
rebounding, defense and general apathy.

Now the Suns have plenty of excuses in hand. After that exhausting thriller
in Dallas they were highly vulnerable against the Pistons two nights later.
And then, after three big games earlier in the week, they simply were too
weary to hang with the Nuggets on the road in the second of back-to-back games
. Amare Stoudemire even blamed the last one on altitude.

I'll give the Suns the stink bomb they dropped against the Pistons. From ground
level, I can tell you that game in Dallas was physically and mentally draining.
Four starters played more than 45 minutes, and the emotional weight
of the entire evening - with all the blown leads and big comebacks - was almost
crushing.

the Nuggets game.

in the game just to hang around the basket and collect offensive rebounds, and
the strategy nearly killed the Suns. Meanwhile, Boris Diaw is looking very much
like a guy who got a new contract ($45 million) and became fat and happy as
soon as the ink dried.

injury - the one that seemed to last forever - might be preventing him from
playing physical basketball. If that's the case, D'Antoni might want to give a
few more minutes to Kurt Thomas. And with alarm bells again ringing, the Suns
might want to spend the next few weeks sharpening their minds and their elbows.
