Suns reserve guard Leandro Barbosa is about as impossible to slow down as a
sneeze.

When a defender is in his crosshairs, Barbosa checks the angles of his hips and
feet looking for imperfections that will allow him to drive left or right or
pull back for that flick of the wrist from 24 feet away.

that Phoenix never relinquished in the 95-87 Game 1 victory.

defense back on their heels."

Amare Stoudemire looked comfortable back in the playoff environment. His jumper
was off but the Lakers looked like they could not counter him in the lane.
Stoudemire hit 9 of 16 shots for 23 points in his first playoff action in two
years. He started the second half by scoring on Phoenix's first three
possessions.
