八、Shawn Marion：

'06-'07 performance：He may have had a case for being underappreciated again
despite a fourth All-Star season. He was slighted on defensive honors but was
the plug for every Phoenix hole. His rebounding dropped due to Stoudemire's
improvement in that area.
    '06-'07年表現：儘管這是第四個入選全明星賽的球季，他還是再一次未受到充分賞識
。雖然在防守獎項的票選中被忽略了但他確實補起太陽的每一個防守漏洞。他的籃板數下
降主要是因為阿罵在這個方面突然開竅了。

'07'-08 outlook：Marion's name will spend another summer in trade rumors
because of the team's looming luxury tax and his $16.4 million salary for next
season. D'Antoni asked a key question Saturday: "How do you get better by
trading Shawn?"
    '07-'08年展望：Matrix的名字整個暑假都會存在於交易傳言當中，因為球隊團隊薪資
已經逼近豪華稅開徵的門檻而他下個球季的薪資高達1640萬美元。D'Antoni星期六問了一
個關鍵的問題："你如何藉著交易掉Matrix而使得球隊更進步？"

九、Sean Marks：

'06-'07 performance：Like most of "The Fitness Club," Marks was told to get
ready for time that never came this season. He was on the inactive list for 62
of 82 games but was a popular teammate and good tutor for Stoudemire on how to
defend Tim Duncan.
    '06-'07年表現：就像所有"健身俱樂部"的標語，Marks被告知要為本季永遠不會來到
的機會預作準備。82場比賽中他有62場待在非上場名單中但他是一個受隊友歡迎的球員而
且也是指導阿罵如何防守叮噹肯的私人導師。

'07-'08 outlook：Marks is a free agent who presumably will not be back if the
Suns hold true to their pledge to get deeper for next season. Playing in only
three games won't help his marketability.

Marks大概不會被留下來。只上場三場比賽將不會增加他的市場價值。

十、Steve Nash：

'06-'07 performance：He nearly matched the previous season's scoring, increased
his assists, shot a better field-goal percentage (53.2 percent), led the
league's top scoring offense for a sixth straight season and took more charges
than any Suns defender did.
    '06'-'07年表現：他的得分幾乎與上個球季不相上下，助攻數卻更勝一籌，雖然每場
比賽都是敵隊設下重兵防守的首要目標但投籃命中率仍逆勢上揚(53.2%)，而且連續六個球
季所屬球隊平均單場得分都冠於全聯盟。

'07-'08 outlook：He should spend his summer rubbing on whatever age-defying
potion he has used to improve in his 30s. Nash's off-season dedication will
help his maintenance. His increasingly vocal leadership will be helpful with
team chemistry.
    '07-'08年展望：已經33歲的他應該花上整個暑假的時間好好服用他一直以來使用的抗
老劑以持盈保泰。Nash在季外的努力將能幫助他繼續保持最佳狀態。他越來越敢站出來說
話，適時地激勵或斥責隊友，這將有助於增進球隊的化學作用。

十一、Eric Piatkowski：

'06-'07 performance：Like Jumaine Jones, the 13-year pro had one rotation
tryout. In March, it started with a bang but lasted five games (all wins).
Despite the inactivity, Piatkowski is tied for 10th among active players for
career three-point percentage (39.9).
    '06-'07年表現：如同大JJ，這位13年的老將整個球季都沒得到多少上場機會。在三月
初對上溜馬那場比賽他突然大爆發(三分8投3中，拿下11分)但只持續了五場比賽(太陽悉數
獲勝)。儘管大部分的時間都很沉寂，Piat職業生涯的三分球命中率(39.9%)可是並列現役
球員的第10名。

'07-'08 outlook：Piatkowski remains under contract for another season. It is a
minimum deal paying him $1.2 million with some offset by the league's veteran
fund. His role may not change but a year in the system could be a benefit.
    '07-'08年展望：Piat的合約還剩下一季。這是一紙價值120萬美元老將最低年薪合約
而聯盟會由老將基金提撥部份金額給予補助。他的角色或許不會改變但他已經在太陽戰術
體系下待了一年，這對太陽來說說不定會是個好處。

十二、Jalen Rose：

'06-'07 performance：Rose was not recruited in November under false pretenses
but the Suns quickly changed their minds that he would be a regular. The Suns
knew he was a defensive liability but did not expect his sauntering pace.
    '06-'07年表現：Rose在十一月加入時不是被騙進來的，只是太陽很快改變了他們原本
認為他可以打進固定輪替陣容的想法。太陽了解到他會是防守的漏洞，不再期待他在場上
如同遊魂的情形能夠改善。

'07-'08 outlook：After 14 years and making $16 million last season, Rose can
call his shot. He is set up for a TV career but said during the season that his
lack of play was extending his career by two years.
    '07-'08年展望：歷經了14年的職業生涯而且上個球季還領到1600萬的薪水。Rose有本
事決定自己的出路。他為自己的電視生涯(當電視球評之類的)預作了準備但他說球季間沒
什麼上場所以讓他的球員生命延長了兩年。

十三、Amare Stoudemire：

'06-'07 performance：All-NBA first-team status may not be enough credit. Off
two knee surgeries and doubters inside and outside the Suns organization,
Stoudemire returned to the landscape of elite big men and did not miss a game
until his costly playoff suspension.
    '06-'07年表現：光是入選NBA年度第一隊或許還不足以讚揚阿罵本季出色的表現。經
歷兩次膝蓋手術和太陽球團內內外外的懷疑聲浪，阿罵又一次成為聯盟的頂尖大個而且直
到季後賽第二輪遭到禁賽前都未曾錯過任何一場比賽。

'07-'08 outlook：Stoudemire can improve on anything that receives his
commitment. His perimeter shot and rebounding are proof. The next frontiers to
superstardom are his post game and defense but will Marc Iavaroni be around to
foster that growth?
    '07-'08年展望：只要有決心，不管任何方面阿罵都能有長足的進步。他的外線命中率
和平均籃板數就是最好的證據。他前進超級明星界下一個尚待努力的目標就是禁區單打以
及防守功夫，但M.Iavaroni還能一直陪在身邊伴隨他成長嗎？

十四、Kurt Thomas：

'06-'07 performance：Thomas' playing time went up and down throughout the
season but his value as a post defender, screener, rebounder, professional
veteran and tough guy were most appreciated against the Spurs. His shooting eye
was at its best in the playoffs.
    '06-'07年表現：KT的上場時間在例行賽期間並不穩定，但他身為一個禁區防守者、為
隊友單擋的專家、籃板手、職業老兵和硬漢的價值在對上馬刺的系列賽中表露無疑。他在
季後賽才拿出了投籃的真功夫。

'07-'08 outlook：He surely will decide to pick up his $8.1 million option for
next season. His name has surfaced for payroll relief in the past and probably
will again, but the Spurs series, and his work against Tim Duncan may elevate
his status.
    '07-'08年展望：很肯定他將會選擇執行下個球季810萬的球員選擇權。過去球隊尋求
解除薪資超過豪華稅開徵門檻的危機時他的名字總會出現在交易傳言當中而且今年很可能
還會出現同樣的情形，但他在對上馬刺的系列賽中防守叮噹肯的精湛表現或許可以提高他
在球隊中的地位。
