    球季展望

Phoenix fans really wish Mr. O'Brien had a doorbell.
    太陽迷真的很希望歐布萊恩先生家能裝個門鈴。

See, the Suns have been knocking on the door of the Larry O’Brien residence
for the last three years and nobody has answered … yet.
    你看，太陽在過去三年已經敲過幾次賴瑞‧歐布萊恩先生家的門，但卻還沒有人應門

Will this finally be the year?
    終於，今年會是太陽叩門成功的一年嗎？

After Steve Nash coming in and resurrecting the franchise with back-to-back
MVPs; Amare Stoudemire rising from the ashes of reconstructive knee surgeries;
Boris Diaw and Grant Hill coming; Joe Johnson and Kurt Thomas going; and two
playoff exits in three years at the hands of the eventual champion San Antonio
Spurs, is Phoenix at the end of its rope or right on the cusp of glory?
    在飄髮哥回鍋並以連續兩年的年度最有價值球員的殊榮帶領球隊搖身一變成為聯盟一

Sure, “defense wins championships,” but the Suns are trying to prove that
offense can win one too.
    當然，"固若金湯的防守能贏得冠軍，"但太陽全隊上下拼盡全力，只為了證明如水銀
洩地般遍地開花的華麗進攻一樣能獲得至高無上的榮耀。

Assuming Shawn Marion realizes the gift he has (he gets paid to play with Steve
Nash!) then there is no reason why the Suns shouldn’t vie for 60-plus wins and
be a title contender again.
    假設Matrix能意識到他擁有的恩賜(球隊是付了他大筆金錢來和飄髮哥打球！)，那太

It would be easy for Phoenix to be left searching for the answers to many, “
What if?” questions after last season’s playoff exit in the Western
Conference Semifinals to the Spurs, but the past is past and with Nash set to
turn 34 in February, there isn’t much daylight left in the Suns’ title chase.
    如果能放棄尋找去年西區準決賽輸給馬刺後那些許許多多"如果...的話"的問題的答案
，那對太陽來說將會是件容易的事。過去就讓過去，而且飄髮哥明年二月就要滿34歲了，

Backcourt
    後場

Raja Bell starts with Mr. MVP and his outside shooting combined with perimeter
defense makes him one of the most valuable role players in the league. Leandro
Barbosa really had a break-out season a year ago and is a game changer when he
comes in off the bench. Phoenix doesn’t go much deeper than this, however D.J.
Strawberry who the Suns drafted out of Maryland, could see some court time in
defensive situations.
    辣椒標會和MVP先生一起先發，而他的外線投射能力加上外線防守能力會讓他成為聯盟
最為傑出的綠葉球員之一。小巴去年球季真的打出如同破繭而出的代表作，從板凳區被調
上場時他確實有扭轉比賽勝負的能耐。儘管太陽在選秀會所挑中，出身馬里蘭大學的小草
莓會因為優異的防守能力分到一些上場時間，不過太陽的後場也差不多就是這樣了。

Frontcourt
    前場

Grant Hill should fill the void left by James Jones as he shot 51.8 percent
from the field last year, which should only go up with the Suns’ free-wheeling
style. Diaw has been asked to play everything from point guard to back-up
center and approaches every task with equal grace. When Amare gets in foul
trouble, Diaw is a great change of pace at the five, sort of like a
thunder/lightning running back duo in football.
    完美先生應該能用他去年高達51.8%的投籃命中率順利補上小JJ離隊後留下的空缺，而
且在太陽自由奔放的球風當中，這項驚人的統計數據應該還有向上提升的機會。屌爺已經
被要求過去打球場上從控衛到替補中鋒的每個位置而且都繳出了可圈可點的成績單。當小
史陷入犯規麻煩時，屌爺會是五號位置的絕佳替補人選，他們兩人的組合就像是美式足球
中風格迥異的跑衛二人組。
