Suns Managing Partner Robert Sarver will take over the role of team governor,
representing the Suns on the NBA Board of Governors.
    太陽共同管理人Robert Sarver將會接下球隊管理者的職務，在NBA理監事會中代表太
陽。

When Jerry Colangelo's group sold the team to Sarver's group in 2004, the
original plan was for Colangelo to remain chairman and alternate governor for
five years. Colangelo, a past chairman of the board and some of its committees,
decided to pass on remaining alternate governor.
    當Jerry Colangelo事業集團在'04年將球隊賣給Sarver經營團隊後，原本計畫是讓
Colangelo繼續擔任主席並兼任管理者五年。過去除擔任委員外也曾任職理監事會的主席
Colangelo決定放棄繼續兼職管理者的工作。

"If I'm not involved on a day-to-day basis, then it's just taking up space,"
Colangelo said.
    "如果我沒有參與每天的討論，那我就是尸位素餐了，"Colangelo說。

Suns Vice Chairman Sam Garvin will serve as an alternate governor along with
Rick Welts, the team's president and chief operating officer. Garvin will serve
on the league's international committee.
    太陽副主席Sam Garvin將和球隊總裁兼經營主管Rick Welts一同兼任管理者。Garvin
會擔任聯盟的國際事務委員。

"I'm looking forward to working closely with the league office in New York,"
Garvin said. "Jerry was a master about working and developing relationships."
    "我很期待在紐約與聯盟高層密切合作，"Garvin說。"Jerry是個溝通協調、培養關係
的專家。"

Jones talks
    小JJ說話了

James Jones, who is headed to Portland once a Suns draft night trade is
finalized, spoke about the deal for the first time Tuesday to KTAR-AM.
    當選秀夜太陽交易案塵埃落定後即前往波特蘭的小JJ，星期二在接受KTAR-AM訪問時，
首次提及這筆交易。

"The last two years have been the greatest years of my basketball career," he
said, later adding, "The fans (in Phoenix) are phenomenal. They can't be
replaced or they can't be compared with anyone in the country."
    "過去兩年是我籃球生涯最輝煌的一段日子，"他說，後來又補充，"鳳凰城的球迷棒極
了。他們無法被取代，全國也沒有其他球迷可以與之相提並論。"

    夏季聯盟兩三事

Other than Marcus Banks and draftees Alando Tucker and D.J. Strawberry, the
summer-league Suns with the best shot at a training-camp spot are mobile
6-foot-10 Pape Sow, 6-10 NBA journeyman Michael Bradley and 6-5 guard Melvin
Sanders.
    除了Marcus Banks和菜鳥Alando Tucker、D.J. Strawberry外，代表太陽參加夏季聯
賽名單中較知名的尚包括活動力出色、6呎10吋高的Paper Sow，6呎10吋高的NBA浪人
Michael Bradley以及6呎5吋的後衛Melvin Sanders。
