The Suns will not receive Atlanta's first-round pick in the June 28 NBA draft
as a result of tonight's NBA draft lottery.
根據今晚NBA選秀樂透抽籤的結果，太陽將無法收回6月28日NBA選秀會上亞特蘭大老鷹
的第一輪選秀權。
Phoenix would have acquired Atlanta's pick to complete the 2005 Joe
Johnson-Boris Diaw trade if the Hawks had not drawn the third pick in the NBA
draft. The Suns will receive Atlanta's first-round pick in next year's draft
regardless of its slot.
如果老鷹沒有拿到前三順位的選秀權，太陽就可以要回'05年JJ-屌爺交易案中老鷹欠
下的一枚'07年前三順位保護的選秀權。現在不管老鷹'08年的第一輪選秀權落在哪一個順
位都必須歸還給太陽了。
If the Suns would have received the pick, it would have been the their highest
draft position since they selected Armon Gilliam with the second overall pick
behind David Robinson in the 1987 draft.
如果太陽拿回這枚選秀權，這將會是他們'87年選秀會在海軍上將後以第二順位挑選
A.Gilliam以來最高順位的選秀權。
As the league's fourth-worst team, Atlanta had 119 of the possible 1,001 number
combinations. Fourteen pingpong balls were numbered 1 through 14 and placed in
a drum. Four balls are drawn each time to determine the draft order but Atlanta
was guaranteed to finish no lower than seventh.
身為聯盟戰績倒數第四的球隊，老鷹在1001個數字組合中握有119個組合。樂透機中會
放入14顆標示1至14的乒乓球。每一次都會有四顆球掉出來以決定選秀順序，但老鷹受到選
秀順位最低不會低於第七順位的保障。
Phoenix will pick 24th (Cleveland's pick via Boston for sending last year's No.
21 pick to the Celtics) and 29th (its own slot) in this year's first round. The
Suns have not kept a first-round pick since taking Zarko Cabarkapa and Leandro
Barbosa in the 2003 draft.
太陽在今年選秀會第一輪還握有第24順位(克里夫蘭將去年的第21順位換到波士頓塞爾
提克所換來的)和第29順位(太陽自己的)的選秀權。太陽自從'03年選秀會挑選Z.Cabarkapa
和小巴就不曾保留球隊的第一輪選秀權了。
