LOS ANGELES - The Suns have the power to score like no other NBA team.
    洛杉磯訊 - 太陽的進攻能力放眼整個聯盟還沒有任何其他一支球隊稍可比擬。

But without intensity and force, there is no power.
    但沒了想要贏球的強烈想法和動力，他們就拿不出應有的進攻表現。

The Lakers forced their will upon the Suns once again Thursday and wound up
with victory for a change. After two home playoff games that looked and felt
like a continuation of the regular season against an inferior visitor, the
Suns' 95-89 Game 3 loss let them know they are in a playoff series with a 2-1
lead and Game 4 at Staples Center on Sunday.
    星期四湖人一次又一次用他們想要贏球的意念衝擊太陽並順利扭轉大幅落後的劣勢帶
走球賽勝利。在主場的連續兩場勝利感覺就像例行賽的延續，來訪的湖人像是一支次級球
隊，但第三場比賽太陽以89比95吞下敗仗，這讓他們知道現在他們在季後賽的系列賽中僅

The Lakers put speed bumps in the Suns' championship drive, throwing traps at
the pick-and-roll that had Steve Nash often off balance from physical play or
off kilter from the surprise tactic. As the pace slowed, the style altered to
the Lakers' liking.
    湖人讓太陽在追尋隊史第一座的總冠軍的路上絆了一跤，他們針對太陽的慣用的擋切
戰術設計了陷阱防守，讓S.Nash屢次因為激烈的身體對抗而失去平衡或是因為他們的偷襲

"They got a little physical with us and they put us on our heels," coach Mike
D'Antoni said. "We never got out of that."

The Suns did not leave Game 3 lamenting defense, despite Kobe Bryant's 45
points being easier than desired and Kwame Brown adding 19 points with
wide-open dunks. The Lakers did not capitalize much on second chances but 15
first-half offensive rebounds helped limit Suns possessions.

For Phoenix, it was looking back at an offense that started bumbling in the
second quarter and never stopped through the close of the game. A chance to win
was blown in pressure moments by making one shot in the final 5 1/2 minutes.

hopefully motivate us."

The Suns plan to send passing outlets toward Nash to help him out of traps,
which the Lakers employed for the first time in Game 3 with Brown's mobility
and speedy guards.

"It felt like they had six or seven guys out there," Phoenix's Raja Bell said.

It seems simple enough to overcome, but Phoenix rarely took advantage of the
four-on-three and three-on-two opportunities waiting on the other end.

The offense sputtered once Boris Diaw, the Suns' next best passer after Nash,
left the floor in the fourth quarter. Phoenix was 1 for 11 down the stretch,

the shots should have been easy, the Suns took hard ones, Nash said.

held Phoenix to fewer than 89 points. The Suns, a great road team since the
franchise's revival, have lost five of their last six playoff away games.

for referees to call stuff when you just walk it up. Everybody bumps people but
if you're running, then it's not a bump. It's a catch. I thought we played into
their hands by not pushing the ball."

The trapping with mixed looks came at the suggestion of the Lakers' players,
coach Phil Jackson said. He used an unlikely backcourt of Smush Parker and
Shammond Williams that gave the Lakers more speed. Parker's length has been
effective against Nash in the past, and Jackson said Williams' stocky, strong
build can compete with Leandro Barbosa.
    之所以使用陷阱防守有一部份也是考量了湖人球員的能力和身體素質，禪師說。他使
用了一個由S.Parker和S.Williams所組成，不常見的後場組合，讓湖人更有速度。人高手

"They're defensively minded guards that play aggressively," Jackson said. "
Offensively, we know we have a ways to go with our guard corps not hitting
shots outside of Kobe. But their defense helped us."
